Abraham House

web2_conference_dana_centre.jpgThe Tony Blair Faith Foundation will support The Coexist Foundation with academic guidance from the University of Cambridge in setting up a world-class centre for education about Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Abraham House will be a spectacular new space in central London. It will be a place where members of the three Abrahamic faiths can meet on equal terms, encounter their traditions, and explore their roots; a place where they can both discover what they share and tackle their differences.

Abraham House will be a centre for understanding Judaism, Christianity and Islam and a place where those with deep religious beliefs, and those with none, can come together to work for a more peaceful and just world and tackle some of today's most pressing issues.. It will also allow visitors, through programmes and displays, to explore the distinct identities of this family of faiths, as well as their interwoven histories, leaving them with a sense of some of the awe and majesty of these three religions.

Abraham House will work with other religious organisations and educational institutions in London and elsewhere. Its work will link faith with the solutions to modern challenges such as climate change, education and the role of women. It will be a resource, not just for London, but for the world.

The Tony Blair Faith Foundation will raise funds for Abraham House and will offer advice over its role and programmes.
