About Us

Globalisation pushes people closer together. Religious faith motivates and influences billions of people in different ways. The ways in which these two great forces interract with each other and shape the world - for good and for ill - are complex. Our aim is to provide ways to understand more about religion’s relevance to the modern world, and to organise practical projects so that people of different faiths can work together to be a force for good across the globe. All our activities are designed to realise these core goals.

Faiths Act around the World

Faiths Act is a global movement of grassroots action: mobilising ordinary people of faith across the world to raise awareness and funds to help eliminate deaths from malaria.

The movement is spearheaded by our Faiths Act Fellows: thirty young leaders of faith from the UK, USA and Canada who are spending 10 months as ambassadors for the Millennium Development Goals. Find out more »

Faiths Act in Africa

Our programme in Africa supports and enhances multi-faith work in health care and its integration into national malaria control plans.  This includes training for religious leaders to promote health education on the basis of their different faith traditions.    Find out more »

University Programme

We are developing a vibrant network of university hubs around the world that generate and share new thinking about the role of religion in the world

In 2008, the Foundation and Yale University originated a multi-disciplinary university course with a focus on the inter-relationship between faith and globalisation. This framework is now being modified and taught by universities around the world.  Find out more »

In Practice

The Foundation convenes religious, political and business leaders to explore practical ways in which faith can contribute to meeting the challenges of the 21st century. This includes seminars on Faith and Development and a large-scale international conference exploring how faith communities can provide integrated solutions to malaria. We also have a practical aspect to our projects, for example Face to Faith students in New York recently held a sponsored car wash raising money for their partner school in Bethlehem.  Find out more »
