University course - Syllabus

Yale University

In 2008, the Tony Blair Faith Foundation and Yale University collaborated in the development of a multi-disciplinary university course that explores the interrelationship between faith and globalisation. Co-taught by Tony Blair, this course is now in its 2nd year at Yale University, bringing together students from the Department of Divinity and the School of Management to research and discuss the role of religion in today’s global world.

National University of Singapore

In August 2009, the National University of Singapore developed its own Faith & Globalisation course, drawing on the themes of the original Yale course. An online learning platform and a series of joint seminars delivered via video conference ensure that the students at Yale and NUS have the opportunity to exchange views and learn from each other’s perspectives. The Foundation is delighted that universities around the world are expressing interest in developing a multi-disciplinary course on the subject of Faith & Globalisation. We hope to share the syllabus developed by these higher education institutions in the coming months.
