Principles

Face to Faith is underpinned by the Toledo Guiding Principles* that there is positive value in an approach that teaches respect for everyone's right to freedom of religion and belief, and that teaching about religions can reduce harmful misunderstandings and stereotypes.

The following principles have been developed to help guide teachers and students involved in the Face to Faith programme:
