On January 10, 2010, four Faith Fellows attended an event hosted by my Forum for Learning and Eternal Spring United Church in Hamilton. This is a learning partnership and every year we host a peace prayer. Having met the Faith Fellows at our meetings, I was enthused about the work they do and youth are an integral part of our outreach.

Faiths Act is the Foundation’s multi-faith social action programme, which mobilises people of faith to work together on issues of health and global poverty, in order to help achieve the UN’s Millennium Development Goals. Our initial focus is the elimination of deaths from malaria.
Our programme in Africa aims to support and enhance multi-faith work in health-care and its integration into national health plans.
A global movement of grassroots action: mobilising ordinary people of faith across the globe to raise awareness and funds to help eliminate deaths from malaria. The movement is spearheaded by our Faiths Act Fellows: thirty young leaders of faith from the UK, USA and Canada who are spending 10 months as ambassadors for the Millennium Development Goals
